THE HISTORY OF ROME - PART 1
Follow the fortunes (and misfortunes) of the Eternal city and its protagonists in this wacky 40 minute comedy. Performed for FREE in English every Friday evening at 1930 by the Miracle Players at the Roman Forum. It runs all summer long from June 18th to August 6th. This play encapsulates some of the funnier moments from previous years' performances. As always, the play draws its inspiration from the writings of Suetonius, Plutarch, Livy, Cicero, Shakespeare and of course Monty Python. Fun for the whole family as history and comedy collides! Check out their website for more details: http://www.miracleplayers.org.
